ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A fire in an electrical vault on Tudor Road caused power outages at Several Midtown Anchorage businesses Tuesday, according to Chugach Electric Association.
At 11 a.m., the utility reported that power was out at the Hyatt Place Hotel, Lowe’s and Home Depot after a fire was started in a vault “full of electrical cable” by locals in the area.
