FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTUU/KTVF) – For the first time, the Western States Carpenters Training Fund and Local Union 1243 are expanding their annual holiday toy drive to Alaska, aiming to support families within the Fairbanks and Anchorage school districts.
While the union has long organized drives across the other 11 states where it operates, this marks the inaugural effort to mobilize the community for students in Fairbanks and Anchorage.
