Virginia Woman Stabbed Elderly Mother, Hid Body Under Recliner Before Fleeing With Dog

A 31-year-old woman in Virginia is behind bars on a second-degree murder charge after police say she stabbed her elderly mother to death, left the body under an overturned chair, and fled the apartment with the family dog.

The Fairfax County Police Department announced the arrest of Helena Little, who is accused of killing 79-year-old Norma Little inside their home in the McNair neighborhood.

According to FOX 5, the investigation began around 10 a.m. on Tuesday when a caregiver arrived at the apartment on the 2300 block of Dulles Station Boulevard for a scheduled visit.
