On Black Friday, Birmingham advocates will host Operation Dignity, an event supporting homeless individuals at the Church of the Highlands Dream Center at 10:30 a.m.
Community members will give out 300 care packages, including blankets, hand warmers and hygiene items, to help individuals living without stable access to water or shelter.
