JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — For more than three decades First Coast News, On Your Side has awarded hundreds of service awards to those who go above and beyond to service our communities in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.
In 2025, First Coast News awarded the 12 Who Care Lifetime Achievement to Deb McDuffie who, after a successful career producing commercials in New York City, brought her talents to Jacksonville, Fla. to mentor students and help them find their voice.
“If you’re not strong-willed and not confident, she’s going to bring that out of you,” said Ritz Voices performer Shannon Johnson. “She’s somebody who’s super supportive and loving. She’s like a second mother.”…
