Kissimmee Offers Relief Grants to Support Local Small Businesses Affected by Pandemic

The City of Kissimmee is providing financial support to small businesses through the Business Boost 2.0 (BB2) program. This program offers grants to businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. As of November 2025, the city has given grant checks to 21 local businesses. The total amount distributed is $255,000. Another 12 businesses have been approved to receive $150,000 in grants. These funds will be distributed soon.

The BB2 program is funded by the American Rescue Plan. It is designed to help small businesses recover from financial losses caused by the pandemic. Grant amounts range from $5,000 to $20,000, based on business size. The grants can be used for operational costs, employee retention, and other business needs.
