A community meeting is scheduled next week to discuss a rezoning for a proposed master-planned, mixed-use project on more than 160 acres off Gordon Road.
The request from Trask Land Company Inc., on behalf of property owner Venters & Venters Properties LLC, asks New Hanover County leaders to rezone a 163-acre tract from an R-15 residential district to a planned development district, according to a community notice.
The rezoning would allow for a master-planned, mixed-use project that would include retail, general office, medical office and residential uses “with custom standards tailored to the site, subject to New Hanover County approval,” the notice stated…
