AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A report released by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) found that the overall number of cattle in Texas and across the country is low.
The report indicates cattle and calves on feed are down by 2% across the United States and down by 9% in Texas compared to 2024 and other previous years.
