On the morning of November 23, 2025, a fire occurred in an apartment building on the 1100 block of Royal Saint George Drive in Naperville, Illinois. The city’s Emergency Communications Center received a report of smoke coming from a roof vent at 9:15 a.m. Firefighters arrived within minutes and found a fire in the attic. The response was upgraded to a general alarm.
A total of 24 firefighters and 10 fire vehicles responded. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and evacuate residents. The fire was under control and declared out by 9:40 a.m. Fire personnel stayed on site for about an hour to assist displaced residents. They worked with building management and the American Red Cross.
