ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Mario Williams, the man who killed Robert Brooks at the Auburn Manor complex in 2019 and was then arrested in a Freeport raid, has been sentenced to spend 85 years in prison.
Williams, 34, was convicted of the crime by a Winnebago County jury last year.
