Albuquerque Fire Rescue continues investigating northwest house explosion

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — Investigators with Albuquerque Fire Rescue are still trying to determine what caused a house explosion in northwest Albuquerque on Walker Drive. One person was sent to the hospital and a home was left in shambles when the blast happened late Sunday night.

On Tuesday, AFR said investigators were still working on witness interviews, but they found no evidence to illegal substance production. NM Gas found there were no leaks in the surrounding area. There is currently no word on the injured person’s condition.

A neighboring residence was significantly damaged from the explosion. No injuries were reported from that home…
