A man is dead in a single vehicle rollover crash along westbound U.S. 34 on Monday, near the Dam Store west of Loveland, just east of the entrance to the Big Thompson Canyon. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, the crash was reported at 8:56 p.m. Monday. The driver, a 24-year-old man from Estes Park, was the sole occupant of a Mazda 3 that had failed to negotiate a lefthand curve in the road and went off the right side of the road, striking multiple roadway signs, and eventually coming to a stop after rolling onto its roof in a gravel parking lot.
