DENVER (KDVR) — The holiday season is here, a time for celebrating with family, friends, and, for some, drinking.
Known unofficially as “Drinksgiving” or “Blackout Wednesday,” the day before Thanksgiving has become known to some as a day to let loose with friends over a drink before the chaos of Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Alcohol sales on this day regularly go up, and it’s become known as one of the heaviest drinking days of the year.

According to a new ranking by sports picks and online casino comparison website Pickswise, Denver is one of the best places in the country to enjoy Drinksgiving.
