SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – A serious crash occurred on Saturday on Highway 395 near Russell Lane, involving three vehicles and leaving two teenagers from Mount Spokane High School in critical condition.
The crash happened when one driver, attempting to pass other cars in the northbound lane, collided with a car at a stop sign. This car, carrying two 17-year-old students who are athletes at Mount Spokane High School, was heavily impacted. The crash also involved a third vehicle that was caught in the aftermath as the impacted car spun out.
