BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Fire Department announced that open burning of hazard reduction fuels will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at 8 a.m.
Officials said that they are actively monitoring fuel moisture and weather conditions. KCFD stated, “If necessary for public safety, burning may be put on a temporary hold. Residents should stay alert for updates.”
