On November 23, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Rainbow Bridge border crossing in Niagara Falls, New York, arrested Patrick Fiati, a 46-year-old citizen of Ghana. Fiati was first seen on the pedestrian lane. He said he was visiting friends in Canada but soon returned to the United States. During a routine inspection, officers found an active warrant for his arrest from Jersey City, New Jersey. The charges include intimidation, stalking, and felony criminal sexual contact.
