CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A local Medicare insurance agent says seniors in South Carolina are losing access to certain Medicare Advantage plans in the middle of open enrollment, leaving many with fewer and more expensive options.
Christopher Westfall, a Medicare insurance agent in Charleston, says he gave clients their plan options back in October. But when he began helping seniors enroll, he discovered that many of those plans could no longer be sold.
