Seacoast Church volunteers serve up over 9,000 Thanksgiving meals across the Lowcountry

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Seacoast Church and hundreds of volunteers across the Lowcountry spent Thanksgiving week serving up thousands of meals to families in need, turning their campuses into what many called “Thanksgiving Central.”

It’s no small task to feed over 9,000 people, but the volunteers said this big helping of holiday cheer is their way of paying it forward.

From carving to cooking, volunteers packed boxes of turkeys and side dishes as quickly as they could. North Charleston campus volunteers buzzed around fryers, ovens, and assembly lines, working together to make sure every box was filled…
