IRMO, S.C. — CSX Transportation will be conducting emergency repairs to tracks in the Irmo area, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Monday, December 1.
Due to the nature of the repair, this will be a total road closure of Pebble Gate Road where it intersects with St. Andrews Road in Irmo, meaning no traffic will be allowed across the track at that location until work is complete.
During this time, Southern Commercial Development LLC will provide traffic control and detour signage for the railroad crossing closure. Motorists in the area should expect some delays and should seek an alternative route through the area…
