One dead after crash in South Knox County

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — At least one person is dead after a crash in South Knox County happened Wednesday afternoon, Rural Metro Fire said.

The fire department said its crews responded to the crash involving two cars in the 7600 block of Neubert Springs Road at approximately 5:30 p.m.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, Rural Metro said. Two others were taken to a hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.
