Guns, drugs found in stolen vehicle after pursuit in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The case against two men accused of leading Metro police on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle in early 2024 is ongoing.

On Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024 Violent Crimes detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) initially spotted a group in the area of Dickerson Pike and Ewing Drive, according to an arrest affidavit. At the time, officials said the suspects were riding in a Dodge Charger that had been reported stolen on Nov. 25, 2023.

Authorities followed the Charger as “it began to drive erratically and travel above the posted speed limit,” per the affidavit. However, before officers could stop the Charger, the driver reportedly pulled under an overpass on Apple Valley Drive and turned off the lights before a silver Chrysler 300 pulled up…
