Hoover apartment residents frustrated by water outage

Residents of The Park at Hoover apartment complex are voicing their frustrations on social media after enduring hours without water, a problem they say has become a frequent occurrence. “I just know a lot of people here it’s been a hardship for them. Myself as well. We’d like the issue fixed its ongoing it happens every week or every two weeks. It’s just a very extreme hardship,” said one resident, who wished to remain anonymous.

The resident added, “It was all day Monday and the week before last it was for two and a half days. It’s just becoming more frequent now. I honestly thought they were working to get this fixed. I like my apartment I like living here I just can’t live like this with happening this often.” Attempts to reach the apartment management were unsuccessful as the office was closed.

Hoover Mayor Nick Derzis confirmed receiving a complaint and said he, “Reached out to our staff who was aware that the water main break was yesterday and that we have talked at the management at the apartment complex and we were told that everything would be on and resumed normal water later today.”…
