BUSHLAND, Texas (KVII) — Veterans serving veterans who may need a helping hand.
Vetsgiving was established five years ago, and with the help of volunteers who go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure all veterans don’t go without over the Thanksgiving holiday, the tradition is growing out of a Bushland family’s house.
“They are receiving a full Thanksgiving meal, and it’s a homemade meal,” said Lynsey Earle, co-founder of Vetsgiving. “They get turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans casserole, rolls and a pie.”…
