Ochsner Lafayette General has officially opened the Ochsner Lafayette General Andrews Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute, located at 4212 W. Congress Street in Lafayette.

The $19 million project includes more than 31,000 square feet of new space—17,200 square feet dedicated to orthopedic services and another 14,000 square feet for physical therapy and sports performance. The goal is to bring surgery, therapy, and training together in one place for a more streamlined care experience.
New features include 18 additional exam rooms, two triage rooms, four private physical therapy suites, advanced radiology and treatment areas, and a dedicated space for hand therapy. A sports performance area includes professional-grade turf, training surfaces, and high-end workout equipment…
