Suit has right crank bait to rally on Day 2 with 15.15-pound limit

HENDERSON – Following Day 1 on Nov. 15 of the two-day Louisiana Bass Cats Classic, Kevin Suit was down, a little, but not out in his bid to win a second LBC Classic since he joined the bass club in the late 2010s.

His five bass the first day weighed 10.66 pounds, which left him in third place in the 9-boat field behind Day 1 leader Eric Smith’s limit checking in at 13.19 pounds. More importantly, he had a consistent cranking pattern in areas thanks to friends.

In other words, Suit had the rest of the LBC Classic field right where he wanted them, including his oldest son, Ben Suit of Port Arthur, Texas, formerly of New Iberia…
