OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Hundreds of hot meals were given out with warm smiles by the Homeless Alliance ahead of Thanksgiving Day.
It’s their annual Turkey Tango lunch that provides all the “fixin’s” for folks in need. Just before chow time, some were also there helping people prepare for the winter months ahead.
“It’s a way for us to really give that, that special holiday feel to our guests at our day shelter,” Communications Director for the Homeless Alliance, Taylor Self, said.

The shelter averages about 400 people per day, with some bringing their furry friends. This time, tons of food await them…
