SAN ANTONIO — Federal and state authorities carried out a major operation in San Antonio last week as part of a new initiative aimed at stopping transnational criminal organizations from operating in South Texas.
The FBI San Antonio Field Office and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) San Antonio recently announced the creation of the Homeland Security Task Force – South Texas, a regional effort designed to bring together intelligence agencies and law enforcement partners to better track, prevent, and dismantle criminal networks operating across borders.
