Man charged with murder in Wichita hit-and-run

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A man arrested in connection with a deadly weekend hit-and-run was formally charged Wednesday.

Chance Flores-Leach, 27, is charged with second-degree murder and leaving the scene of an accident.

He was arrested Sunday after crash that happened around 6:40 p.m. Saturday near Central Avenue and Hillside Street.

The victim, Henry Collins, was struck by three vehicles in the road. Two of the drivers stopped and cooperated with the police, investigators said.
