A lifelong resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, recently shared their observations and concerns about the seemingly dwindling social activities in the city. The individual, who is now married with a child, noted that many of the places they visit often appear deserted. They mentioned a park in Owasso that was busier than most places they’ve been to, but wondered where everyone else had gone. The Gathering Place was noted as an exception, but the difficulty in finding parking often deterred them. The individual also expressed a sense of nostalgia for the pre-cell phone era, when face-to-face interactions were more common.
