Idaho leaders unite in support after National Guardsmen shooting in Washington, D.C.

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Idaho’s leaders are responding to the National Guardsmen who were shot in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

Governor Brad Little issued this statement: “Devastating news out of Washington, D.C. today. Our brave servicemen and women answer the call every day to protect our people and communities. Please join me in praying for the two guardsmen shot, their families, and the entire Guard community.”

Senator Jim Risch’s statement: “Vicki and I are praying for the two brave West Virginia National Guardsmen shot in Washington, D.C., earlier today and for their families.”…
