Gas line rupture in Tacoma neighborhood triggers shelter-in-place alert

A construction crew working in a Tacoma neighborhood struck a gas line Wednesday afternoon, prompting a shelter-in-place alert for nearby homes, according to the Tacoma Fire Department.
