CAPE CORAL, FL — Pizzeria Del Gallo, the first restaurant from owners Niurka Sanso and Victor Del Risco, is targeting a mid-December opening, the family told Business Debut. The Cuban-inspired pizzeria will open at 1918 Del Prado Blvd S, Unit 4, Cape Coral, FL 33990.
What to Expect
The restaurant will operate with a hybrid format offering both counter service and dining room seating. The space is designed to feel clean and modern, with capacity for about 30 guests.
According to their daughter, Irina Del Risco, the family wants the atmosphere to encourage casual gatherings, especially for families. She said milkshakes will also be on the menu, which are commonly enjoyed with Cuban pizza.
Menu and Vision
Pizzeria Del Gallo will focus on Cuban-style pizza, a personal-sized pie known for its thicker, spongier dough. “The Cuban pizza tends to have a dough that’s thicker and more spongy, crispy on the edges,” Irina Del Risco told Business Debut.
The menu will feature classic Cuban toppings such as chorizo, ham, cheese, and pepperoni, along with salads, pasta dishes, and Cuban sandwiches. While the full topping list is still being finalized, the family said the menu will stay true to Cuban culinary traditions…
