CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — A boater who set out on a fishing trip to celebrate his 70th birthday recounted the moments that led to his boat capsizing near Clearwater and later being rescued by the Coast Guard.
Dennis Woods and three of his relatives from Mulberry left for a fishing trip on a 25-foot green-and-white catamaran called “Money Well Wasted” from the Seminole Street Boat Ramp around 9:30 a.m. Monday.
