Godwin Heights High School Students Receive CPR Training to Boost Emergency Preparedness

Students at Godwin Heights High School recently took part in Heart Healthy Day, an event focused on teaching CPR and promoting wellness. Freshman Kylee Nelson practiced chest compressions on a mannequin and noted the difficulty of keeping a steady rhythm during CPR.

The event included lessons on CPR and automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Students also received blood pressure and heart rate screenings.
