LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Volunteers with the Fern Creek/Highview United Ministries distributed food to more than 200 people in need on Wednesday, ahead of Thanksgiving.
The event, which started at 10 a.m., had cars lining up in the parking lot at 7:30 a.m., and served families in less than two hours as volunteers carried boxes of Thanksgiving items to cars in chilly and windy conditions.
