ROANOKE, VA. (WFXR) – After seven years of serving up barbecue from a food truck, Mama Jean’s BBQ has officially fired up something bigger.
What started as a roadside operation has now grown into a full brick-and-mortar restaurant. Something owner Madison Ruckel says took far more than great barbecue.
“The process was a lot of investment, and we had a lot of help from the Bank of Botetourt,” said Ruckel. “It took blood, sweat and tears just to get it done. Really, the hard work of our employees and the dedication from our loyal customers was what made it possible.”…
