MCPD identifies woman killed after car overturned on Cherry Hill Road

SILVER SPRING, Md. (DC News Now) — Police in Montgomery County said a woman died after her car struck a tree and overturned on Cherry Hill Road over the weekend.

In an update on Tuesday, the woman was identified as 26-year-old Mariama Samateh of Silver Spring.

The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said the single-vehicle crash happened near O’Fallon Street just before 10 p.m. on Nov. 23.
