With some of the busies travel days of the year at our doorstep we’re keeping a close eye on the forecast as colder temperatures, strong winds, and eventually snow will all make it into Syracuse over the next few days!
First off, strong winds will likely develop later this evening as the National Weather Service has issued wind advisories that encompass the entirety of Thanksgiving for counties along the Lake Ontario shoreline. Gusts over the next 48 hours for these locations could reach between 40-50mph. Notably Syracuse is not under a wind advisory although we’re very close to meeting that criteria as gusts could reach between 35-45mph both Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
