You aren’t dead yet?’: Man strikes victim with hammer till it breaks, then hits him again 6 to 8 times with a fire extinguisher, police say

A Nebraska man has been arrested after allegedly beating another man outside a motel with a hammer and fire extinguisher, saying “you aren’t dead yet?” as he repeatedly hit the victim.

Roger Lee Abramson, 49, faces charges of second-degree assault, terroristic threats, and third-degree assault.

According to a probable cause arrest affidavit obtained by Law&Crime, the York County Sheriff’s Office responded to an allegation of an assault at the Sun Motel in Henderson, some 60 miles west of Lincoln, around 11 p.m. on November 14.
