LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- It’s never too early for a hot Thanksgiving plate, and this year the local nonprofit, Jericho Way, was one day early serving dozens of people in the community just about everything you’d see at a traditional dinner.
The director, Latissle Stevenson, says she started working at Jericho Way 10 years ago, and she’s always made it a priority to give back.
“It’s more than just a hot meal, but also a resource. After they eat, they get to go to our other department in the building where they get free clothes, shoes, cleaning supplies, and just about every other commodity that they need to survive,” Stevenson said.
