Lubbock’s Upcoming Pancake Festival Offers Early Bird Discounts

The Lubbock Lions Club has long been a staple of community service in the Hub City — and one of its most beloved events, the Pancake Festival, is back. This year, locals have the chance to secure tickets early for Black Friday via the Club’s official site. Individual tickets are a dollar off, and reserved tables are discounted $50. The sale gives fans of pancakes, bacon, sausage, and community fun a head start before the rush.

What the Pancake Festival Offers

The Pancake Festival is famous for being a massive, all-you-can-eat extravaganza. The event features, among many things, nearly 6,000 pounds of pancake mix; 72,000 sausage links; 240 gallons of coffee; and over 23,000 slices of bacon. Families also enjoy extras like cotton candy, face “tattoos” for kids, and a festive, community-friendly atmosphere.

The 2025 edition of the festival is scheduled to take place at Lubbock Memorial Civic Center (1501 Mac Davis Lane) from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Why It Matters — More Than Just Pancakes

More than a breakfast binge, the Pancake Festival is the primary fundraiser for the Lubbock Lions Club. All profits go toward supporting over 30 local charities and community programs, including organizations like Meals on Wheels, The Salvation Army, and Texas Lions Camp for children with special needs.  In past years, the event has raised six-figure amounts to support these causes…
