A parrot sighting in the wild has sparked a flurry of interest on social media. The bird was spotted at Sinclair Park in Melrose, where it flew by and settled in the trees on the north side of the park. The person who spotted the bird, a dog walker, recalled seeing posters about a missing parrot but was unable to locate them again.
