AAA is projecting nearly 82 million people will travel, which is a new record for Thanksgiving. Most South Dakotans will hit the road to get to their Thanksgiving destinations, but some will take off in planes. AAA has projected nearly 274,000 South Dakotans will travel at least 50 miles for Thanksgiving.
