Man with pandering, weapons convictions arrested in Las Vegas after skipping probation 6 years ago

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 31-year-old man is back in jail after he was arrested for probation violations on Tuesday, Nov. 25, according to Nevada State Police (NSP).

Khalifa Sikes, who was originally prosecuted in two cases, according to a news release from NSP. One was for repeatedly pandering a juvenile and possession/intent to sell a controlled substance. The second case came when he was found with several baggies of marijuana, an AR-15 rifle with an obliterated serial number and a loaded handgun during a traffic stop in August 2018. Sikes received suspended sentences and was ordered to report for probation.

He skipped in October 2019. Now, six years later, he was arrested by state police, the Division of Parole and Probation, and the U.S. Marshals Service. He was located in Las Vegas through a joint investigation that began in August. The FBI and the ATF assisted…
