An Alabama woman is behind bars facing attempted murder charges after witnesses reported seeing her choke and try to smother her 4-month-old daughter in a desperate bid to stop the child from crying.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Mireira Lucero early Monday morning following a disturbing sequence of events at a home in Phenix City.
