MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile school teacher has announced he is running for a seat in the Alabama House of Representatives.
Mobile police identify motorcyclist killed in crash
Tim Manning, a teacher at Phillips Preparatory School, is running for the House District 101 seat.
Manning told News 5 has would be addressing multiple issues in the office, including:
- Access to mental health treatment for young adults
- Constituent communication from elected officials
- K-12 education-related reforms
- State government transparency
- Business opportunities in the district
Manning said he has been a teacher in Alabama for 29 years, with two of those years being at Daphne High School. He has been at PPS since 1999.
