CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A Newport News man was arrested after allegedly stealing four French Bulldogs at gunpoint in Caroline County on Sunday night.
On the evening of Sunday, Nov. 23, Caroline County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the parking lot of the Ladysmith Food Lion after receiving a report that a seller was arranging to meet a buyer to purchase one French Bulldog. The report mentioned that the buyer confronted the seller at gunpoint.
According to investigators, the suspect seized all four French Bulldogs — each valued at about $4,000 — and a firearm the seller had in the vehicle before driving away with the animals…
