CANTONMENT, Fla. — More than 300 north Escambia County families in need will have a Thanksgiving meal, thanks to the generosity of others.
The Cantonment Rotary Club held their annual Thanksgiving meal giveaway Wednesday morning. Volunteers said the need for food in the area is greater than last year.
“Every year the Cantonment Rotary Club does fundraising,” said Greg Shoemaker, president of the rotary club. “One of our biggest giveaways each year is our Thanksgiving meals for people in need.”…
