Block watch organizational meetings set for Toledo neighborhoods

Toledo residents interested in setting up block watch groups in their neighborhoods can attend meetings scheduled throughout December.

Organizational meetings are designed to get residents active in their communities, said Robert Hayman who leads the Beverly Block Watch program. The groups discuss anything neighbors consider useful to improve their neighborhoods from crime prevention and cleanups to city services and community gardens. Speakers are often invited.
