AUSTIN (KXAN) — After six years without a home, Austin’s beloved graffiti park is finally reopening this week.
The HOPE Outdoor Gallery celebrated a soft opening on Wednesday, and it will officially open to the public on Friday.
HOPE Outdoor Gallery announces November opening
The original gallery launched in March 2010 at “The Foundation” on Baylor Street, according to its website.
“The Foundation” was a failed condo development from the 1980s that was left underdeveloped until Andi Scull, the co-founder and creative director of HOPE Outdoor Gallery, turned it into a temporary art installation.
